At the age of twelve, Sara made her initial foray into the world of natural product formulation. She would assume the role of sub-chef to her grandmother, the resident beauty guru of the region, during childhood visits to California, in making her desired home-made hair care.

 

After a relocation to India in the early twenties forced Sara to switch out her homemade essentials  for the store-bought variety, she quickly realized that the natural hair care on the market simply did not live up to its performance .

 

Starting to live in a tiny studio apartment in Mumbai, her grandmother's desired beauty recipes and a dedicated natural chemist team, Sara founded Hermosa Hair Care.
